Welcome to the Shin Bu Kan Iaido site.

The Shin Bu Kan was founded in Brighton England, in 1977 by Vic Cook sensei to promote Iaido and Jodo on traditional lines.

Cook sensei has spent the last eleven years teaching and helping to develop both Iai and Jodo in Great Britain and Europe, including The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Greece and Italy, as well as assisting senior sensei in France, Germany and Holland. He is also an International grading panellist and Taikai Judge for the British Kendo Association.

As well as teaching regular classes and holding seminars both in the UK as well as abroad He makes himself available to individual students or groups who require private tuition.
